We should not blame God for "false prophets" or "false brethren", since he warned us about them (Mat. 24:11; Gal. 2:4). God wants a direct relationship with us, not one conducted through intermediaries. He provided a very clear, understandable direction in the Bible on how we can obtain salvation. Even then, although God must call, humans must respond, or decide not to answer.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth" (John 14:6). A denomination can show a person the way, but it is not "the way." Jesus is the way. Likewise, a denomination can teach the Truth, but it is not "the Truth." Jesus is the Truth. He attacked not men, who as exceptions, might be excellent, but doctrines and institutions which mold the majority of mankind. Yahweh has His true believers spread out in every Christian denomination. Therefore, any true believer who obeys the Commandments of God and accepts Jesus as His Saviour and LORD, and is baptized in His name for the remission of sins, is part of the remnant Church of God.
We may be down to our final Weeks as the Church to witness to the remainder of the world that is lost.
However, the world does indeed seem to know that all is not well, and it isn’t. The question comes down to what a person does with Yeshua and the gift he offered through his RESERRECTION. Whatever point of history we are in, that is the question. That is the bottom line. Believing in Christ and accepting his gift of pure grace is what will deliver us. It is the only thing that can save us. We will soon see that the world cannot save itself. Scripture promises that it will soon be humanity's darkest hour. Those who believe now will be taken to be with Yeshua in likely a few short months. The rest will then have to endure the coming dark hour and many will decide. Now is the time of salvation. Yeshua will soon reign over the Earth.
Statistics of falling Church attendance almost certainly reflect resentment based on matters of sexuality, Forms of Sunday worship, to speak of Yahweh as Father (male only), interfaith services and modern interpretations of Scriptures. All the same, they also suggest fundamental doubts about core belief. The share of the world’s population that is Christian is expected to remain at about 31% The very idea of “God” is in contest these days. A recent survey discovered that 40% of adults in England did not believe that Jesus was a real historical figure! A Palm Sunday poll conducted in 2017 for the BBC found that only 46%of the general public believe in some form of life after death. The same study found that 23% of those calling themselves Christians “do not even believe in the resurrection of Jesus from the dead” at all. Either they assume that it is sufficient merely to be labeled Christian, they have no Spiritual appetite or they simply are unwilling to pay the price for advancement. Consequently, the Church is over-stuffed with big babes, unwilling to advance Spiritually. If we are not governed by the Holy Spirit what profit will the mere designation of Christianity be to us?
Yahweh does not take attendance of our Churches, because, no matter what the numbers read, Yeshua rewards faithfulness and effort. Should a believer allow self to be the master while expecting the Holy Spirit to help and to bless him in his work, he undoubtedly will fail to produce Spiritual fruit. Christians cannot anticipate a walk and work pleasing to God if they have not crushed their soul life by persistently denying its authority and unconditionally laying it in the dust.
“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” (Dan 11: 32)
We may be asked to die for our faith, but we will not become extinct.
The world will plunge into apostasy on every level: faith, religion, politics, morality, academics, family, entertainment, ideologies and almost every area of public and private life, but the faithful will remain faithful.
Creation itself awaits the disclosure of the sons of God when they shall experience the redemption of their bodies, for Creation shall be freed from the bondage to decay and shall experience freedom from the burden of evil to which it has been subjected (Rom. 8:19-23). While Paul does not elaborate on the Truth of the redemption of nature, there is profound biblical theology underlying it. The Prophets constantly described the establishment of God's Kingdom in terms of a redeemed world (Isa. 11:6-9; 65:17-25); and the New Testament shares the same theology.
Now it is true that the Bible teaches that in Adam all die (1 Corinthians 15:22), but it also teaches that men are capable of responding positively to God's calling (Acts 2:38-41; John 6:44; Revelation 17:14; Matthew 20:16). Previous bad experiences with religious leaders or groups which disappointed us or betrayed us tend to make us wary of trusting people. A little change in our own lives is mirrored everywhere in our world. There would be no point in fulfilling the following teachings of Yeshua if humans could not find the truth themselves and respond:
(Matthew 24:14) And this Gospel of The Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
And Yeshua came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Yeshua warns us, "not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my father which is in heaven." On judgment day, many will say to me ''Lord! Lord! We prophesied (or preached), cast out demons, and performed many wonderful works. And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that do iniquity" Matthew 7:21-23
Harsh as this may sound, on Judgement Day, many good people who do good deeds, who are even "religious" will be sentenced to spend eternity in hell. When a person dies, there are two different eternities to which they may go as scripture reveals in Luke 16:22-23; Heb. 9:27; Matt. 13:42; Matt. 25:46. Only God knows the secrets of your heart.
